MAGNUM CARGO, our X2 Elite member and partner in Mauritius, has successfully managed the international shipment of an amphibious boat from Mauritius to Auckland, New Zealand, showcasing its logistical expertise and commitment to precision handling. The boat, measuring 6.3 meters in length and 2.10 meters in width with a payload capacity of 700 kilograms, was shipped via a 40-foot Full Container Load (FCL) for private use in Auckland.

The operation began with the careful loading of the boat onto a flatbed crane lorry, which transported it to MAGNUM CARGO’s warehouse. There, the team completed the container stuffing, ensuring the vessel was securely lashed for sea transit. One of the main challenges was the tight fit of the boat within the container, requiring extra care when lowering the windscreen using its hydraulic system to meet the height restrictions.

Despite these constraints, the MAGNUM CARGO team executed the operation smoothly within three days. The shipment is now en route to Auckland Port, with an estimated sea transit time of 25 days.

This project highlights MAGNUM CARGO’s ability to handle non-standard cargo with care and efficiency, offering tailored freight solutions that ensure every shipment arrives safely no matter the complexity or distance.
