Cargojet recently completed a successful shipment of slewing bearings for industrial machinery from Nhava Sheva, India to Barcelona, Spain, in collaboration with ProShip Global Indian Pvt Ltd. Originally planned as an LCL shipment, the cargo’s weight and volume necessitated a shift to FCL. Additionally, they optimized the route by changing the Port of Loading from Tuticorin to Nhava Sheva, significantly reducing transit time.

To gain better control over the process, they negotiated a switch in shipping terms from FOB to EXW, allowing them greater visibility and oversight at origin. ProShip’s dedication stood out throughout the operation, their South India Zone Head personally supervised the container loading, ensuring careful handling from the outset. Their proactive communication and logistical guidance were crucial in ensuring a smooth and secure shipment.

This shipment further strengthened their relationship with ProShip, which began through discussions around DAP import traffic.
