Freight Logistic S.A.S. recently completed a specialized logistics operation in Cartagena, Colombia, coordinating the handling of hydromechanical equipment destined for a hydroelectric power project in Australia.

The scope included complete coordination, customs processing, and loading and unloading operations onto a barge, facilitating the cargo’s transfer to Puerto Bahía, Cartagena for onward shipment. The equipment consisted of conduction ducts that will form part of the infrastructure supplying turbines at a hydroelectric power plant.

The project required careful planning and execution to ensure the safe handling of oversized and project-critical cargo while maintaining operational efficiency throughout each stage of the movement.

This operation highlights Freight Logistic’s experience in managing specialized industrial and project cargo, supporting the movement of key infrastructure components from Colombia to international markets.
